Conduct research on an emerging market. Identify and evaluate companies that are good candidates for investment. Build relationships in the market and develop a strategy to capitalize on the opportunity. Identify properties for competitive advantage.

Provide interim leadership on a Chief Operating Officer (COO) capacity. Develop the business plan and financial model. Lead site selection, basis-of-design, site diligence, and permitting effort. Negotiate and secure contractual partnerships to execute the plan.

Identify regulatory risk that the program will face, anticipate how these risks may manifest in each phase of the project, and provide guidance on how the company can address them. Highlight best practices to reduce the risk associated with basis-of-design, design, construction, commissioning, and delivery.

Perform an operational assessment to prepare for the next phase of the business cycle. Provide an actionable plan to improve operations, facilities, personnel, and communication.

Work with Trade Superintendents to identify projects and actionable plans to improve their manufacturing value stream. Implement with the support of a cross-functional team. Focus the effort on work families with the most potential and measure results with production rates.

Mentor the management team with a structured curriculum and one-on-one advice to execute the strategic plan, and raise capital. Perform an operational assessment and develop an actionable plan for the company to achieve objectives.

Participate in a S.W.O.T. analysis with a cross-functional group, representing Operations, to develop a strategy and actionable plan to accomplish three-to-five-year growth objectives. Perform a feasibility study on options to expand within the current facility or build a new facility. Align the operations plan with sales, marketing, and finance.
